Computer Science—The need for computer science as a discipline continues to grow as computers become more integrated into our daily lives and technology advances. This pathway provides students with skills required for the workforce now and in the future. Students in this pathway study theoretical algorithms and the practical problems involved in implementing them through computer hardware and software. They also learn about artificial intelligence, software engineering, programming, and computer graphics.
Information Technology Support & Services—This pathway prepares students for careers providing IT or technical support services. Students gain a basic understanding of computer hardware and software and develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
