About Shatia Varnado

Hello! I am Mrs. Varnado, and this is my third year at Alabama Virtual Academy and my seventeenth year as an educator. This is also my first year serving as a K–5 Math Interventionist. I love traveling, seeing the world, and learning new things. Through our Virtual Field Trip Club, we will explore exciting places, gain new knowledge, and experience things we might not be able to see even if we visited in person. It will be like traveling, exploring, and learning from around the world together!
