Testimonials

“I love the freedom that Alabama Virtual Academy gives me to explore my interests and have more free time for them. I am aware that no school system is perfect, and Alabama Virtual Academy is no exception, but if you have a strong work ethic and a desire to learn, it is a good option for you.”

“In 2021, I was looking to move to online [learning] due to being bullied. I found Alabama Virtual Academy when I was in the 8th grade. Later, I came out as transgender and the teachers immediately called me by my preferred name and pronouns. If you need help with something they’ll gladly help you until you understand it. I had issues with math and one of my math teachers made a video and sent it to me to help me understand. This school is amazing, with great resources, and diversity in live classes.”

“ALVA is a great online school. It teaches students how to manage their time and complete tasks and lessons. It also provides time for students to learn together in an online classroom.”
