Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests are required as part of the program?
Students who are enrolled in Alabama Virtual Academy at Eufaula City Schools (ALVA-ECS) are required to take the following tests:
- Lesson assessments
- Unit assessments
- Semester assessments
- Diagnostic and formative assessments to measure growth and mastery of grade level standards
- Other state required assessments
Do I have to participate in state testing?
Students enrolled in ALVA-ECS are required to participate in ALL state testing. Participation is a mandatory requirement of the school.
